Cold and clear, Hat Creek is famous for its fly fishing and rafting. Places to visit nearby include the Subway Underground Caves and the Thousand Lakes Wilderness Trailhead. You will find camping and picnic areas along Hat Creek, and the McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park is just a short drive away on Highway 89. Shopping and dining can be found in nearby Burney or at the small grocery store and restaurant in Hat Creek.
